Take your writing to the next level! Work one-on-one with one of our consultants or join us for an event designed to make the writing 过程 more fun and approachable.
We offer one-on-one, 45-minute sessions, both in-person and online! Our online sessions take place in WC在线, a platform that provides audio, video, screen sharing and a shared document so writers and consultants can collaborate. Both face-to-face and online sessions are booked in WC在线.

Our one-on-one sessions with writers—both face-to-face and online—begin on the hour and last up to 45 minutes. You cannot sign up for back-to-back appointments (for instance, you cannot sign up for sessions at both 1 p.m. 和2p.m.), but you may sign up for as many appointments as you'd like each day and week.
Our open sessions are available for you to book from now through the end of the semester!

- For an online session, return to the schedule and click on your appointment to begin your session. For a face-to-face session, we'll see you at the 写作中心 at the start of your appointment.

新政策: Each semester, you may miss one appointment with no penalty. If you miss TWO appointments, your 写作中心 在线 (WC在线) account will be frozen for the remainder of the semester, meaning you will not be able to use the 写作中心 until the next semester or Summer I begins.

Welcome from the 写作中心主任
Since 1977, the 写作中心 at A&M-商务 has supported the writing of students, faculty and staff. We welcome writing projects at any stage, from brainstorming to polishing. We are also here to coach you through writing-heavy semesters and long projects (like theses, dissertations or book projects). We believe writing is learned best in inquisitive collaboration and understand our role primarily as readers who provide interested, thoughtful and open-minded responses. We are writers ourselves, 因此, we learn both from and alongside the writers that 访问 the Center. We value every literacy background writers bring to the Center, 从词汇表, 方言, and languages used at home, 工作, school and from regions and/or nations not our own. Our goal is to support you in bringing your writing skills to different contexts and practicing new skills along the way. 在一对一的治疗中, we discuss the writing project, 过程, context and possibilities, aiming to support writers in developing and accomplishing their unique writing goals.

We now have a rewards program for writers to earn 写作中心 gear by using our services. We will give you a Punch Card Bookmark, and you can receive punches for participating in the items below. Punches can be earned from:
- Sessions with a 写作中心 Consultant
- Using the 写作中心 to write for 1 hour or more
